Phoebe Woolner is a Grade 8 student from Calgary, Alberta who is graduating class of 2029 from Strathcona Tweedsmuir School. Phoebe is a considerate, kind, and insightful individual who has the desire to experience the world and amplify her community through service projects and volunteering, making an everlasting impact. Phoebe is passionate about musical arts, mathematics and travel, interests that continue to shape her worldview and fuel her drive to contribute positively to her community. She is an experienced clarinet player who plays a pivotal role in her school's band, while furthermore participating in jazz band, showing her dedication to the arts. In addition to her musical talents, Phoebe has played volleyball consecutively for the past three years, playing for several teams maintaining the position as a division 1 middle blocker. Throughout her time playing volleyball, she has been a dedicated team player leading her club and school volleyball season. Phoebe looks forward to using the Ladder Foundation as a platform to help build a better, more equitable world while growing as a learner, leader, and changemaker along the way.
