Clmentine Woolner's Bio
Clementine Woolner is a Grade 10 student in the graduating class of 2027 from Strathcona Tweedsmuir School in Calgary, Alberta. She is a hard working, passionate, and curious individual dedicated to creating meaningful change through her understanding of the world and her commnitment to making a positive impact in her community. Providing opportunities for those less ofrtunate and fighting for a more equtable and just world. She is committed to uplifting communities, standing up agasint injustice, and making sure all people have the opportuntiy to thrive. Her vision for the future is one where compassion, equality, and human dignity are prioritized in every effort she makes. This is rooted in her deep interests in psychology, social sciences, history, and molecular biology. Clementine has pursued her academic passions by participating in Columbia University's Pre-College Program for the past two summers, studying a variety of subjects in these fields alongside professors who specialize in these topics and peers who share the same passion. She plays the position of middle blocker on her Division 1 U15 Volleyball team, where she has been a dedicated team member for the past two years and has learned the importance of teamwork and collaboration.
Before beginning her volleyball career, Clementine was active in high-level equestrian and squash leagues, showcasing her athletic drive in various sports settings. She is looking forward to using the Ladder Foundation as a platform to create lasting change in her community, while prioritizing providing opportunities for those in need. She hopes to create a more inclusive world for all.
