Danielle Li's Bio
Danielle Li is a 15 year old entering her first year of high school in Calgary, Alberta. Danielle will be graduating in 2028 through the International Baccalaureate curriculum. She has a passion for chemistry, biology and math, and aspires for career in the biomedical field. Danielle is earnest, passionate, dedicated and a strong minded leader. Alongside her studies, she is focused on making positive impact in her community through volunteering her time and enthusiasm to causes that will make a difference in the world around her. She is particularly interested in uplifting children to ensure every child is given an opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive and empowering environment.
Danielle as well as her Ladder co-founders are committed to providing opportunities for those less fortunate and fighting for a more equitable and just world. Besides working hard on her studies, and volunteer efforts, Danielle is a high performance athlete where she is captain of her Division One indoor volleyball team. She contributes by motivating her teammates both on and off the court and thrives to be both an outstanding teammate and an individual. In addition to indoor volleyball, Danielle has achieved championships in beach volleyball as well as gymnastics and badminton.
She is looking forward to building the Ladder Foundation to use it as a platform to create lasting change in her not only her community, but also globally, while prioritizing providing opportunities for those unheard and unseen. The Ladder Foundation has spearheaded a birthday gift bag program at the Calgary Food Bank which generates donations and creates and supply's all the needs to give children in need the birthday party they would never have if not for the Ladder. Danielle truly believes that everyone deserves a chance to succeed in the world, and believes her efforts reflect a deep commitment to making impactful change and equality for all.
